I chose this design because I really love typeograms. I like how you can manipulate type to create the actual definition of the word. In experimental typography, we created six of our own and it was one of my favorite projects that has involved type.

I would assume its purpose is to represent the definition of the word in a unique way without straying to far from the definition.

The sender of the message is the world itself. It reads as dimension while creating an idea that it has dimension to it.

The type itself is the design. It is creating a three dimensional shape just using letters that spell the word. The spacing between the letter forms may be tight, but it creates the illusion more convincingly compared to having more space in-between them. The word may be rearranged, but I don't think the readability suffers so I would say typographic craft not being an issue.
